A little mud, a little Snow
It’s been warmer the normal up here and a while since I we’ve had some snow so I went out to look for what trails might be ridable. There is a nice loop in Golden Gate Canyon State Park I like to do which is mostly south facing, so I figured that will be mostly […]
3500 ft ascent
I had an appointment in Denver today, so I planned a mtb ride for afterwards. It was still windy up in the high foothills and since the lower elevations don’t have as much snow as we do up here, I thought I could take advantage of some dirt. I was going to ride Green Mountain, […]
Too much wind!
The forecast was looking good for a nice road ride today. The roads are clear of ice and snow and the sun was out. I think the temp was in the 30’s today, but the wind was constant. Winds were around 20-25 with gusts around 40. For me it’s too much. Later in the […]

Pride
Today I watched the movie Pride. It’s about a group of young men that are in a tough part of Philadelphia in the early 1970. Their local recreation center is going to close, but before it does they join it’s swim team. And the story goes on. I don’t want to spoil it so I […]
Adding Google Maps
I added a new feature to the site today. I now can add my GPS recording to show the route I rode and the elevation gain. I use a Garmin 305 GPS. This is a excellent device. I highly recommend it. ward2 This ride is from the Ward and back on Jan 18 2009.
