Tapering for Nats

To prepare for the Nat on Saturdays race I’m not going to do much riding.

  • Monday I did a strength workout to maintain the power I’ve built this year on the machines.  I do this every week on Monday or Tuesday.   Also some easy spinning in zone 1 and 2. and Core work
  • Tuesday, preride the course, at a good pace zone 3 and 4.
  • Wednesday, 3-4 6min Hill Intervals 1hr total
  • Thursday, rest/recover.  easy spin or nothing at all.
  • Friday Easy spin, and some core work.
  • Saturday Race
