Thanks for visiting MTBCoach.com. This site is all about training and racing mountain bikes. Why just mountain bikes? I love mountain bike racing and training. I love the challenge of the technical climbs, fast descents and of course the people. I do a great deal of training on my road bike too, especially in the winter. I have even raced on the road a couple of times, but I find my passion on the mountain bike.
My services include mountain bike race training plans and coaching for endurance and Cross Country (XC) races.
Training plans are designed for the every day athlete, beginners to pros. Very few people that race have time to ride 20-25hrs a week, so unless you are one of them, you need to make your workouts count. Just riding your bike will not make you faster or build your power. You need a plan to build speed, power and endurance together with the right amount of rest. If you work 40+hrs a week, have a family, school, and other commitments, then your workout time is limited. If you are lucky, you may get 10-12 hrs a week. This is where I come in. My coaching and plans are designed for the everyday athlete.
