Power Workouts

In these workouts, intensity is not important.  Concentrate on your power and form.

Power Jumps

After a good workout, do 3-5 sets of jumps.   Each jump is 10-15 rotations of the cranks.   Cadence should be high and out of the saddle.  Spin easily after each jump for about 1 minute.

Hill Sprints

Find an off-road course with short hills that take 10-20 secs to ride.  Attach each hill hard out of the saddle.   Cadence should be high, 90rpm.  recover 3-5 minutes with easy spin or downhill before the next sprint.
